Linen is a durable, natural material and if cared for correctly can last years – and years.
To ensure your products keep, wash your linen before you use it for the first time (and, hopefully, regularly after that) in a cold, gentle cycle using liquid detergent only, and leave on the line to dry.
Tumble-drying is not recommended, but if you must, avoid using a hot setting and overloading the machine. Do not bleach, iron or dry-clean your products, and if they happen to stain, launder immediately.
The thing about linen is that it gets better with time, softening with every wash, becoming more comfortable as time goes on.
